Parag’s journey has taken him around the world from Germany to Dubai, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, South Africa, others offering opportunity to learn and sharing ideas at major industry exhibition and events.

Mr. Dave’s career began working with polymers products of Haldia Petrochemical Ltd, handling Techno‐Commercial activity, market seeding and sales. Way ahead he had opportunity to work for products of global leaders such as Dow, Polytech France, Clariant, 3M, and lastly worked as Sales Manager for Voltas‐Tata Group. The journey helped enriching his technical and commercial acumen. Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, a Diploma in Plastics Engineering, a PGDBA from NMIMS Mumbai, and a Master’s in Marketing Management from the University of Mumbai. He has also completed specialized management training in Germany through the GIZ‐CII program.

Being a dedicated educator, Parag has been teaching as a visiting faculty for last 20+ years at the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) and SIES School of Packaging covering topics on plastics processing, materials, product and mould design and marketing. He also mentors new entrepreneurs through entrepreneurs’ development training programs by MSME, SISI, MCED, MITCON and other institutions and is a sought‐after speaker for guiding new business startups in in academia and industry. DTS has worked with Ministry of Sri Lanka, offered Skill Development project ‐ supplying complete equipment’s and training module.

Mr. Dave is the editor of “An Insight into Plastics” since 1996 (novel & noble initiative of Mr N. C. Dave) and “An Insight into Packaging,” a comprehensive industry guide and handbook books that are trusted by global industry professionals and students alike. These are circulated at national and international exhibitions for industry benefits. Apart from business and social activities, Mr. Parag is also active in industry groups. He is a life member and serves as Honorary Secretary of the Indian Plastic Institute – IPI (Mumbai Chapter) since past 7 years. He is actively associated with major industry associations like AIPMA, PLEXPO, others.

He is also associated with PRESS as Associate Editor for Plastics Tomorrow and for Plastic Today and also writes articles to be published in leading plastics magazines. He has also associated as Knowledge and/or media partners with Elite plus, Elite, Recycling conferences and for exhibitions like Plastasia, P3, EV vehicle, Plastivision, Plast India, Hiplex, I‐plas, K‐plas, Complast and others. Guided by the enduring legacy of his father, Mr. Parag Dave continues to inspire growth, innovation, and knowledge‐sharing in the plastics industry ‐ committed to building a better future for industry and society alike.
